Double Dotty.

Yellow Polka Dot Blouse w/ Peter Pan Collar: c/o Lulu's.
Chambray Denim Shorts: Dehlia's.
Hair Bow: Modcloth.
Red Suede Heels: c/o OASAP.

Hello everyone!
Obviously I was feeling a little polka dotty today! I'm not usually one to mix prints, but I'm no stranger to loving polka dots so why not do a two in one...?

I got these shoes from OASAP the other day and was thrilled to receive them. I don't have any red heels so I thought these would be 'the ones' I got the red bow belt I wear in a lot of my outfit posts from OASAP and it was exceptional quality, however, I was highly disappointed in these shoes. With in one wear they completely feel apart. The rubber sole on the bottom came off when I was taking these pictures, and I just had to peel it completely back and off which was really easy. They were measly glued on. Not to mention the shoes came in the most beat up box ever and all of the writing was completely in Chinese. I knew when I got the shoes that they didn't look that well made, but I figured I would give them the benefit of the doubt. Needless to say I am super disappointed and can say that these are the worst shoes I've ever owned. I don't know if I would honestly order from OASAP. It seems like such a gamble because I've gotten one great item and one not so great (to say the least).

Anyways, I hope you all are doing well! I only have THREE more days of high school left which is crazy... I'm killing my finals which is surprising because I really should have studied more...I think my teachers are just making them easy though because they feel bad seniors have to take finals!

With much love, Lauren.

I love mixing polka dots! Your primary colors look great, but that's a shame about the shoes. I really appreciate your honest review, though. Maybe you could send them back? I'm hoping that they are responsive to your opinion on the shoes either way.

All the best,
Ashlyn

Aw, I've had shoes like that before. It's such a shame they are falling apart :/
I love your outfit and the bow in your hair is the icing on the cake-I just can't get over how adorable you look :)

I was just looking through these gorgeous photos, then glanced at your twitter bar and I KNEW THERE WAS SOMETHING DIFFERENT! You hair looks so beautiful and cute, I love it! It looks so healthy and luscious :) I'm definitely craving a haircut right now!
This outfit is so cute by the way, I'm sorry to hear about those red shoes though. I never would've guessed the poor quality with the way you've styled them.

I was looking at this gorgeous post on my computer and my 2 year old sister (who barely utters a peep!) walks past and says 'SHE PRETTY!' and I nod and say 'Yep, she's gorgeous!' :)

Loooving the double polka dots!! Just had to comment because I received some shoes from OASAP yesterday and they were exactly the same, they were in a completely battered box all in Chinese, and although I've only tried them on yet, they're SO badly made - the insole in one of the shoes is glued so far down that it comes up in the end of the toe (does that make sense?!) so that it feels like a size smaller than the other! I definitely agree it's a gamble getting things from there, maybe it's just the shoes because I got a lovely dress before =/ But well done you for writing honestly about it!
I know how you feeling about coming to ends and exams etc. I'm doing my finals now, just 3 more to go, and a week tomorrow I'll be finished!!
xx

It's always disappointing when a brand doesn't live up to your expectations, especially when the shoes are so pretty. I love the way you've mixed polka-dots here, you look lovely xo

I needed a dose of Lauren and her lovely commenters today! Honestly, I read a really horrid post from someone I follow and all the negative comments that went with it from commenters and it really made me sad! I love how your blog is a really pretty and lovely place and it really is. It's not being something it's not. It's lovely!

This outfit is so incredibly adorable with the double polka dots. It's definitely something I would love to wear! I'm so sorry about the red shoes. It sucks because they're so cute. I've been wanting a pair of red heels/wedges for a while now, so I'm loving yours. If only they were made better!

I love your outfit!

I'm not usually one for wearing anything too out of my norm (which is lace, neutrals, or floral prints) but this outfit is just too lovely to pass by! I'm definitely considering experimenting more with shades and patterns!

I just had the same thing happen with a pair of wedges I got. :-P I wonder if it was the same brand. I was really disappointed, too, because the wedges are so cute.

But despite your wardrobe malfunctions this outfit is sooo adorable! I love the mixed polka-dots! It's a nice detail, but it's not over kill.

You're just too cute!! <3
