Hello everyone & happy last day of 2011!
I'm not a big 'New Year's Resolution' maker, but upon looking at last year's post on this day I did happen to make one that I had completely forgot about. At this time last year I was suffering terribly from my OCD. It was taking my life over. I couldn't eat, I could sleep, I didn't want to go to school, or do anything at frankly. I felt so helpless and defeated and didn't know where to turn to. Last year I made the resoltion to overcome my OCD, and you all know what? I did.

I'm so proud of myself and how far I've come in just a year. Yes, I did have to resort to medicine to help beat OCD, but that doesn't mean I didn't have to fight it on my own either. I truly never though that I'd be able to get away from all that I was suffering, but I proved myself wrong. And I couldn't be happier.

So this year what's my resolution? Hmm it's a tough one. I always feel like when I make resolutions I set myself up too high, and then get disappointed when I can't succeed. I know I want to try and eat healthier and exercise more this year because 2011 was a rough year for me regarding body image, but I'm afraid of letting myself down if I can't. So I suppose I'll make an unofficial New Year's Resolution. To have a healthy and happy year. To make 2012 the best year yet

Love you all and have a beautiful New Year's...
With much love, Lauren.
