Vintage Lace.

Black Lace Dress, Nude Chiffon Maxi Skirt, Gold Beaded Vintage Clutch, Gold Ring, Black Wedges: Thrifted.
Black Beret: Target.

Hello everyone!
It started raining like absolute crazy when I was out snapping these pictures...I was running back and forth like a mad women trying to get them shot before there was a complete downpour. Anyways, this black lace top (which is actually a dress) that I'm wearing was my first thrift purchase ever! I bought it my freshman year at a church rummage sale and it was really the piece that got me started thrifting...I couldn't believe that such a special and a beautiful piece could be discovered for mere dollars. It was a total revelation for me!

Things have been going pretty well for me as of late, but I just can't help but have such contempt and seething dislike for my schoolmates. They're just all getting under my skin so much lately. I'm tired of dealing with the pettiness, selfishness, and immaturity that comes along with high school. I have a writing post planned for later this week to sort of talk more in depth about what is going. Perhaps this will help me to get some of my frustrations out. For now though I'll have to just deal with my fellow school and classmates and pray for this school year to go faster. Trust me, at this point it can't go fast enough!

Hope you all are doing wonderful though...
With much love, Lauren.

Oh my goodness, how do you manage to get such beautiful pictures no matter what the weather?! I took photos in the rain earlier this week, but they didn't turn out half as well. You look beautiful, and your hair is so perfect in curls! I love it. The skirt looks so beautiful and flowy too. Sorry about all the feelings with high school lately...I can definitely relate. Some of those people can just completely get under your skin! But don't worry, you are almost done! The next few months will fly by, and soon you'll be at college with interesting, kind, and intelligent people like you! :)

Really excited for you to finish high school! Have you picked out your grad dress yet?

High school is ROUGH! I struggled through my last few years, the drama was just getting to be TOO MUCH. :-) Don't worry, it will be over soon though! I adore this outfit so much, it is really beautiful! I love how you layer the clothes you own, it makes everything so versatile. :-)

Love the outfit! Pink(s) must be your color!
What about praying FOR your classmates? God has you right where He wants you, use this time for His glory. I can't imagine what you go through at school (I'm blessed enough to be Homeschooled). I admire you for standing up for your beliefs and modesty in such a hostile enviorment-I realize it can't be easy to dress modestly in your situation. Stand strong!

There is a funny riddle in Russia, it says: "Zimoy i letom odnyim tsvetom", or "In winter and in summer in the same colour" I just remember it looking at your cold winter outfits )))))
