Argh...all of my lovely Sunday was spent completing an English essay that's due tomorrow! Usually I am not a procrastinator, however, I have an extreme dislike for writing essays so I waited to write the whole thing today! Bad decision on my part. For about six hours today I had my eyes stuck to the computer screen frantically typing while bees buzzed and the sun shined outside....
Well, on a lighter note though, this was the outfit I wore to church this morning! Some days I feel like dressing more "vintage-y" than other days, and today was one of those days I just wanted to! For all of those who are new to my blog, here's the little story behind this dress...For Halloween I wanted to be a bride and purchased this dress for $4 at a local thrift store. After Halloween I still wanted to wear the wedding dress, so I had my grandma and great aunt alter it for me into a everyday dress! I thought it would be fun to give some red lipstick and wrist gloves a whirl today at church. I had a lot of fun dressing up and pretending I was a 1940's gal!

I would like to thank ALL of you so very, very much for all of the lovely comments on my last post! Seven comments?! Wow! The most I've ever gotten! Recently, I've had quite a few new followers too, and I'd like to welcome all of you to my blog :D I hope you enjoy reading it, and don't become too bored with my constant complaining about school and such things... hehe.
This coming week is going to be extremely busy... Tomorrow I have a band concert and a reward breakfast for getting good grades, Tuesday I have early release and academic awards, Wendsday I have a lifeguard meeting, Thursday is the music awards, and Friday? Time to relax I hope! Lately I've been really missing my boyfriend Matt... Things have been so hectic with school that we haven't had a lot of time to hang out and talk. Summer is just around the corner, however, and I can't wait until it's here!
P.S. I have a little story about my thrifting adventures this weekend write about hopefully tomorrow!
