Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream.

Mint Lace Dress: Delia's.
Leopard Heels: c/o Pink and Pepper.
Camel Beret: American Apparel.
Binocular Necklace: Giveaway Win.
Heart Bracelet: Antique Store.

When I lived in my hometown, I hated it. I hated high school. I hated everyone in it. I hated this town. And I hated every single day I spent here.  Can you say angsty teenager much?

But today I took Sabrina around my town and I realized just how selfish I used to be. I live in an incredible town with so much beauty, story, and culture. I was proud to show her around to all of my favorite places, explaining their history and some of my own little personal stories. We went downtown to the antique store, the carousel, and the coffee shop. A picture perfect day in my mind.

It's been super fun to have someone take outfit pictures for me the past few days. I'm never able to snap pictures of myself laying down so that's a real treat to finally have! Photographing Sabrina is a breeze though, as well. She's such a natural beauty.

I picked up this bracelet at the antique store today and knew it was just one of those things I couldn't leave without. Ever have that feeling? It caught my heart and holds a special meaning (I'd rather not go into detail about). Though it symbolizes a new start to my life, but still holding onto and remembering a piece of the old

Hope you all are well!

With much love, Lauren.

Beautiful. Love the colour combination. I've never worn mint. Maybe I should try.

I'm glad you're having fun in your home town over this break. You look gorgeous in your mint dress and leopard print heels. Leopard and mint just looks so great together. I'm going to have to pair those two sometime soon!

It is so nice how you now view your hometown. I am sorry you missed out on how lovely it is in the past. That dress is so gorgeous on you by the way!!!

You look so lovely! I'm loving the color of that dress

I feel the same way about my hometown, especially showing someone new around. However, I think that it is okay to feel that way - you appreciate it because you don't live it anymore.

These photos are beautiful, and I am so glad that you are happy to be home. I think we can easily forget the good things about places, and even people, when we are around them all the time. I'm definitely guilty of it in my beautiful city. Having some time away can allow you to appreciate the mundane in new ways xo

Ah that dress is very pretty! I bet it is lovely having her there! Sometimes fresh eyes make us see the beauty in something that has been in front of our eyes all the time!

I love the outfit and the pictures, absolutely perfect! The combo of mint and leopard is unexpected but really pretty! The shot of you laying down with purse in front is probably my favorite! I grew up hating my town as well, it's what I used to see as redneck and annoying, but now when I go out to take pictures it seems like the most beautiful place in the world.

That bracelet is so pretty. I love antique jewelry. It has a new meaning for you and probably had a special meaning to the previous owner as well. I'm in love with that dress and I think it looks so good with the brown socks and heels! Perfect! <3
