Happy Easter and Happy Gotcha Day!

White Dress with Black Belt: Kohl's.
White Hat with Satin Flowers: Thrifted.
Black T-Strap Shoes: Target.

Happy Easter everyone! Here's some pictures of my little sister I in our Easter attire... Lately, I've been really into wearing shift dresses; I'm wearing one tomorrow to school, as well. They are just so easy to wear and style!
The "Easter Bunny" left me some goodies in my basket that I can't wait to share on the blog! I was ecstatic to see that the "Easter Bunny" knew exactly what I've been wanting lol. Thank you Easter bunny ;)
This morning I went to Easter Mass and then my family and I went to my grandma's house, whch was a relaxing and pleasant. Dinner was delicious; warm ham, mashed potatoes with melted butter, yams that taste like candy, rolls that melt in your mouth, and homemade cheesecake courtesy of my father. Yum! I didn't think I was going to be able to zip up any of my dresses after I ate... Ever since I was little my grandma has given me an Easter basket filled with goodies, and even at sixteen the tradition is still alive! It sounds silly to be sixteen and like to get an Easter basket, but I live for traditions. They are truly what make holidays special! :)
Today was another special holiday for my family, as well. It's called Gotcha Day! Five years ago me, my mom, and dad travelled to China to adopt my little sister, Gracie! We left on April 1st, and actually adopted Gracie on the 4th. So on the fourth of April every year it is Gotcha Day, where my family celebrates the adoption of my little sister! I don't know what I would do without her. We fight a lot, but at the end of the day I truly cannot imagine my life without her..
Have a wonderful holiday!
