HELLO EVERYONE!!

Longest time no see! Gosh, did not expect to be away that long, but I am glad to be back this evening blogging. It's been a crazy time lately and blogging unfortunately fell to the wayside :(

So what have I been up to?! Well, a lot! I didn't want to mention it at the time for obvious security reasons, but I was house sitting for my boyfriend's family for two weeks while they went on a road trip out west which kept me busy. It was so good to finally see him again on Monday--got to work in as much time with him as I can before I leave soon!

I've also been doing shipment for Aeropostale early most mornings and things got crazy because we were getting SO MUCH for the big back to school fall launch we did on Monday, as well. I ended up doing the floor set for the new launch two nights in the row until 4 and then working the big event party the next day, so it took me awhile to recuperate from all that! Thankfully my hours are going to start going down since it's getting closer to leaving, and it's time for a much needed break to spend time with loved ones and relax.

Then my birthday was on Friday! It was my 21st and although I didn't want to do anything big for it, all my friends and family made it a special one. I did some shopping in Columbus and then went out to eat with Ryan in the evening for my first drink. I got a mudslide and it was really, really good! I couldn't taste any alcohol in it; haha it just tasted like ice cream and chocolate. After there was a bit of cake and ice cream at my house to end the evening. My parents got me an intax mini in powder blue which I'm so excited about!! I've wanted one forever, so I'm excited to experiment around with it and hopefully bring it with me to Italy :)

I'm sorry that these first outfit pictures in awhile aren't too exciting and it's kind of a boring outfit. It was just what I wore to church this morning and did really like the simplicity and stream line-ness of the outfit, but it does come across very blah in photos. I feel as though my style is going through a shift though again-- hope to document it more in these next few weeks so I can see myself evolve!

So great to be back--love you all! x

With much love, Lauren.

Glad you're back too!!! I've been away camping also and I had scheduled posts for security and didn't mention I was away!!!
Happy birthday! Wow 21!!! Nice necklace and I think the outfit is really pretty. The hair helps to make it more stand out but the colours Di that anyway. And what is this mud slide? I've never heard of it. You never did comment on my alcohol post. A pity- would have been good to have had you pre-drink perspective. Never mind.

Hope you enjoy your last couple of weeks with Ryan, Gracie and your family. X

I love the fluttery sleeves on this top, and I don't think it's boring at all! I think the color combination is really pretty :) I'm glad you had a great birthday and now I want a mudsliiiiide <3 (As a gal who NEVER wants to taste alcohol in my drinks, anything with Malibu coconut rum was my go-to in college -- if you like coconut, you should try a bahama bay breeze! It's rum, pineapple juice and a splash of cranberry!)

This is one of my favorites of your outfits, actually. Love those colors of blue and green together - so classy and sophisticated.

I actually used this thing called a hot bun! It's a thing you put in your hair and wrap it all around :) you can get them pretty much anywhere--they really do work!
