You Reflect In This Heart of Mine.

Mint Lace Dress: Delia's.
Wedges: Lulu*s.
Headscarf: Thrifted.
Lipstick in  Isadora's 'Summer Red.'

Hello ♥
Although I don't get a lot of hours, I really love my job at Aeropostale. It's perfect, everything I could want in order to get a first hand look at the industry. Everyone is just so kind, too, which shocked me. My previous jobs I've worked the employees were just so unkind and took advantage of me. A job doesn't even feel like a job when you enjoy it!

Hope your weekend is going swell. x

With much love, Lauren.

Your print headwrap is just so cute! Adds that perfect detail that fits your style wonderfully :)
Also, so glad to hear you enjoy your job. Aeropostale always has some of the friendliest employees (at least, in my area I've noticed). I wish I could've gotten a job in retail, but I'm just grateful I have a job at all!

I love the headscarf with the red lipstick! it looks so pretty! And it's so wonderful that you enjoy your job at Aeropostale. I'm really not looking forward to getting a summer job 'cause there's just nowhere to work besides Walmart by my parents house. But, I'll just be glad to get a job at all!

It's great that you love your job. Too many people in this world hate theirs. Love that colour dress on you. Beautiful.

So glad you're enjoying your job, Lauren! That's the best kind of jobs! I read a quote somewhere that says, "Do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life."

I'm loving your outfit--especially the color of your dress!

I hope you have a great Memorial Day weekend!

Ahhh yes that gorgeous dress! Is it the same one in your picture on the sidebar of the blog? One of my favorites on you. So pretty! And I'm so glad you're loving your job! It can be really difficult to find a job that is intellectually-stimulating, related to what you love AND surrounds you with great people, so I'm so glad you're having a great experience!

Love your blog Lauren! I'm curious, what do you wear to work? I work retail too and I also love my job, but I have to wear a uniform that I definitely don't love. How creative does Aeropostale let you be?

Anonymous,

I wear usually what I normally do! Aero doesn't have a strict dress code and you don't have to wear their clothes. It's suggested, but not required and they give you a hefty discount to do some shopping. I just wear feminine, classic, preppy outfits to reflect their aesthetic! x
