Monochromatic.

Striped Dress (worn as a top): Forever21.
Polka Dot Dress (worn as a skirt): Thrifted.
Black and White Heels: Cato's.
Black Beret: Target.
Heart Socks: c/o Storets.

I liked this outfit a lot.

But tonight I'm tired. My head hurts. I'm dizzy. My sister's been screaming. The co-workers and customers were both rude tonight. And I just want to go to bed.

So I am.

With much love, Lauren.

This outfit is adorable, however I have a question that might be sort of stupid: how did you get two dresses to look like separates? Maybe I'm having a brain fart, I have had a long day too, but I just can't figure out! It looks so cute. :)

Hope you have a good night's rest dearie.

Sorry you didn't have such a great day. But you look incredibly lovely!! I've always wondered how girls make a dress look like a skirt. How do you tuck the top part in without creating bulges? I want to know your secrets! :)

And those socks!! Oh, they are so cute! I'm so glad I found your blog because your whimsical style is so inspiring. And than you so much for your sweet comment on my blog! <3

I have always been a sucker for black and white, but I'm really taking inspiration from the fact that you mixed a stripe and a polka dot! It's sophisticated and funky at the same time. Rachael @ Frugal Faye

I imagine I'd be going to bed now too if I were you! I laughed when I saw this post because I have just been searching etsy and ebay for a white sailor dress for the last hour and I saw this very sailor looking outfit after that! It seemed fitting somehow!x

hope you get some good restful sleep :(
This outfit is so so perfect, the socks and shoes are perfect together. I never get socks to look this cute with heels and I really need to try spots and stripes together again. I think the smaller spot makes it easier to do. You look so chic!

I'm so in love with this outfit. I need a pair of cute little socks like those. I also love your beret with the striped top. This makes me miss my berets that I left back at my apartment because it's way too hot to have wool/felt on my head.
