Baby Doll.

Orange Dress With Peter Pan Collar: Modcloth.
Pink Beret: Target.
Pink Fossil Cross Body Purse: Thrifted.
Cream Socks: Forever21.
Basketweave Wedges: Lulu's.

Hello, hello everyone!
How are you all...? This was a little outfit I put together yesterday that I loved wearing. Every time I wear this sweet dress from Modcloth I feel like a baby doll...but who ever said that was a bad thing? It was fun to sort of color block and wear pink with it- quite a contrast from my last somber look!

Lately I've just been so incredibly overwhelmed by how awesome you all are. Last Friday I got a chance to skype with a fellow blogger, Maria of Avenue M who is from Australia! It was seriously the loveliest time and felt like I had known her for years...it truly gave me so much hope that at Kent there's bound to be someone like me. I mean gosh, I found someone who lives in Australia! Maria and I are going to make skyping a regular thing on Fridays and I am so excited...I'd love to get the chance to skype with some more of you, as well! Perhaps if you're interested shoot me an email?

Something else that also blew my mind is the sweet and adorable youtube video a reader, Hannah, made to thank me. If you all remember, a few posts back I mentioned Hannah gave me a $50 gift card to Barnes and Noble for my graduation and she was so excited and thankful that I had said something to you all. Oh course, why on earth wouldn't I?! Something you all have to realize is that I'm not this all mighty person who is perfect and has this perfect life...I am just like all of you and there's nothing 'great' or 'special' about me. Just an ordinary girl with an ordinary blog. Never feel like you can't email me or ask to chat- it may take me awhile to reply back (I'm the absolute worst!) but I always try to because you all mean everything to me!

Hope you all are swell :)
With much love, Lauren.

oh my gosh peter pan collars and orange and wedges all in one post, this is too much to handle, i love it! ooh blogger skyping sounds quite fun! Maria seems so lovely, I'm sure you had a blast! There really just needs to be a giant blogger party where tons of fashion bloggers just all hangout that would be so cool. I will admit that I was a little scared when I first emailed you haha I mean I guess its normal because 1. i had never met you irl (but that's changed :D yay) and 2. your blog is so awesome and you're SUCH a good writer. haha x

Ah that's really sweet of her to do a video! I have to say, you are a very lovely grateful person when it comes to gifts- I was so surprised when you did a post about the things I sent you! It's that loveliness that makes yours my favourite blog! It's funny that though you are only 18, (compared to my ancient 31! though only in number! In my head I am 12 still!) that you remind me of teenage me and the age thing doesn't matter when reading blogs, if you lived near me, I'd definitely regard you as a friend!! Some of the friends most dear to me are completely different ages to me!
On another note, lovely outfit Miss Pumpkin Chai!
