Little Siblings Weekend :)

This past weekend was something a little different; my little sister came up to college to spend the weekend with me! The theme for this years 'sibs weekend' was Nickolodeon in the 90's- fantastic nostalgia for me but my sister didn't quite get all of the Rugrats, Wild Thornberrys and Jimmy Neurtron. Regardless, I had an incredible weekend with my little sis and she even claimed it 'the best weekend she's ever had.' *tear*

There was all sorts of fun activities to do that we certainty took advantage of. We did a photo booth picture wearing out matching shirts, played bingo, jumped in inflatables, went swimming, got animal balloons, and tie dyed socks! On our own we stayed up late into the night snuggled in the bunk bed playing DS games and eating snacks we picked up at the market. And then of course my sister being the little sporty, daredevil gal she is wanted to go ice skating, so how could I say no to that sweet face?

She's a little speed demon and fearless. I, on the other hand...oh my gosh. I was the kid at the roller skating parties when I was younger who was clinging onto the wall, crying, screaming for someone to help me get off the rink. Yep, still that girl. I tried for my little sister but it was um, not pleasant. I made it one time around in a record time of a half an hour and never left that wall once. I was so 'speedy' that even the little kids had to ask me to go faster. Yikes.

We also hung out a lot with my good friends Erin and Rachel! Gracie just adored them to pieces and it was so nice for them to get to meet the little rascal. We stayed up until 1 in the morning watching Wall-E and I've got to say...one of the cutest movies I've ever seen hands down.

So glad I got to spend a wonderful weekend with my little sister. I know she's already excited about next year's little sibs weekend! ♥

With much love, Lauren.

This is such a cute idea! I wish that Juniata did something like this - I know that my niece would love it! What a fun theme idea as well - those memories will certainly last a life time! Haha, saw that skating photo on FB - don't feel bad, I'm the same way, skating and I certainly don't mix.

Looks like you had such a fun weekend! It's awesome your college has a siblings weekend! I actually had to do a double-take at the last picture, because I have a similar picture of myself at an ice skating rink, and the expression on your face and your hair there made me think it was me for a second! Also, I really want Flips right now :)

Aw, what cute pictures! I wish Akron did something like that...or maybe it does and I just don't really pay attention... On the other hand it would be difficult with so many siblings..

Anyways, it's so weird to see you in jeans! But, you both look adorable :)
