Hello everyone!

I've been doing so well as of late. I've gotten back into exercising which is surprisingly something I thought would never happen! I do not like to exercise; never have, never really will. But I do love to swim. I was a competitive swimmer for 12 years of my life and it's really the only exercise I find myself liking and actually wanting to do.

The past few weeks I've really been getting back into it and it has brought about a lot of changes. In my body and life style. I think it's incredible being able to see my body change, and know that I'm the one doing it. I don't want to lose weight because I am actually incredibly happy with my weight right now. I never thought I'd say that, but I truly am! I don't think it should always be about the number on the scale, but instead having a weight that works for your frame, your body type, and what you're happy with. It's exciting to see myself grow stronger and more toned. Just little differences, not visible to the eyes looking at me but I can definitely tell. Makes me so excited and pumped to do more!

I've really seen a difference in my life, as well. I struggled a lot this winter with sleepiness and lethargy. I didn't have enough energy to get through the day without a nap, and I was sleeping in until 11 o'clock so there was no excuse. After just exercising a few times a week I can't believe how much energy I have (and you would think it would be the opposite). I haven't had a nap in a few weeks and I can get up earlier in the morning and don't feel the need to fall back asleep. I feel happier, more energetic, and just all around healthier.

It's important to feel happy and content with your body. It's not about having a perfect body, it's about having a body you're perfectly happy with. I know that my body is far from perfect and actually considered 'overweight' for my height, but I am the happiest with it that I have been in years and that's the important thing!

With much love, Lauren.

Glad to hear you are feeling healthy. I still don't exercise. :)
You look like a character in an Archie Comic in this outfit. Love it!

That's awesome that you have more energy...honestly I can definitely relate to sleeping all day and still needing a nap. I just don't do well when I don't get a lot of sleep!

Anyways, that headband is adorable on you! I love it! You look like a Disney princess :)

Not excercising had been linked strongly to depression. When I suffered depression last year I got myself into the gym. I lost 5k and gained a completely different mindset. Exercise is so important! It is fantastic that you have been working out it will help you so much-mind, body and soul! Xx

Love your outfit! That blue is so pretty, and I love that color lipstick too!(:

I have really got to start exercising again. I know that if I don't exercise, I do get lethargic and super tired all the time, and sometimes depressed as well...it's hard to fit that in with school, though! Anyway! Good job getting back into exercising, and for finding a way to exercise in a way that you enjoy.(:

So inspiring - not just your discussion of exercise but rather your ability to love your body. How lovely.

Always good to hear a woman say she is happy with her body. I know that when I do yoga on a consistent basis I feel much more energetic.

I'm trying to exercise more too, so I'm glad you've started to enjoy it. I've had fleeting thoughts of enjoying the weight lifting I do with my boyfriend and I've been liking the subtle changes I see in my body. Maybe someday I'll be a person who likes to exercise too haha. But probably not.
Anyway, I love your high-waisted shorts with this pretty blue top. The red lipstick contrasts so nicely with your blouse.

So glad you are feeling great, Lauren. They say it takes 4 weeks for you to see change, 8 weeks for your closest loved ones to see it, and 12 weeks for the world to notice.

Love the outfit! You always look great! Have to admit it - I'm hooked on exercise. I go to the gym at least 3 times per week and hate to miss it! Keep up the good work - you should always make time to take care of yourself cause no one else can do it for you :)

Blessings,
Tracey

PS,
Got my order from shopping your closet super fast! Can't wait to make another purchase :) The yellow jacket is adorable, a little tight in the shoulders, but if fits :)

Thanks for sharing your finds!!!

You look happy :) Exercise is the best! For the past year I've turned my life around with healthy eating and exercise and I've never felt better. I can't even imagine going back! I'm also a believer of not focusing on the weight, but healthy habits WILL result in healthy weight loss...people focus too much on the just losing weight portion.

With havin so much content do you ever run into any problems of plagorism or copyright
violation? My website has a lot of completely unique content I've either created myself or outsourced but it looks like a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my permission. Do you know any techniques to help reduce content from being stolen? I'd definitely appreciate it.

I just want to say that you are absolutely beautiful inside and out, and the way that you love and appreciate your body is beautiful. I love your outlook, it's amazing! I have at times struggled with loving and accepting my body shape and size and am hoping to incorporate a lot more self love and have your kind of outlook, it is SO SO inspiring. Thank you! You are gorgeous!
