Orange You Glad?

Orange Peter Pan Collar Dress, Cream Hair Bow: Modcloth.
Yellow Cardigan, Floral Purse, Cameo Necklace: Thrifted.
Tan Clog Heels: Target.

Ugh.ugh.ugh.ughhhhh. I've worked on my senior paper outline (which is pretty much the paper itself) like a maniac tonight and I'm not even close to being done. Stressed out doesn't even begin to describe how I feel right now. I am stressed x1000000. I feel as though no matter what I write or how much time I spend on this outline, my teacher is just going to find something wrong with it and mark me down anyways. I didn't do so hot on my introduction I turned in a few days ago and I felt confident about that turning it in...I feel super insecure about turning this 8 paragraph outline in because I don't even make sense to myself. I just can't form the right paraphrases and get the words in my head to type out on the computer screen. I just want this misery to be over with.

With much love, Lauren.

This outfit is so adorable with the beautiful color combinations and bow! I love it, as always.

I'm sorry that you are stressing out so much...it's not a good feeling, but it will all be over soon, and you'll do even better than you ever imagined! Just envision the success you will feel when you get it perfect...it'll all be fine. You're going to do amazing...the things you write on this blog prove how good of a writer you are. Good luck in finishing! :)

a)you look so sweet in that super cute outfit
b)please don't bog yourself down over the paper, it's not worth it! i mean, i don't know the importance of it, but i know you write really well and so just garner a bit more focus and you'll be able to think of something splendid!

First off, you look so adorable in that orange dress.

Second off, in the grand scheme of things the outline doesn't really matter all that much. Doing crazy detailed outlines is not the work of a real writer, and in the end the grade won't matter at all come June. Do your best, hand it in, take the grade, but don't freak out over it. Trust me. I'm a teacher.

hope the outline goes well.
I think this is the best shade of orange to wear. What a gorgeous dress. You look like you are one of those dolls that every little girl would want to look like as it sits on their shelf.

You'd fit in in Montreal, or London (UK), vintage culture is HUGE there. Lots of girls in '50s dresses and pin curls.

Just thought you might like that little joke:) I'm so sorry that your senior paper isn't going so well for you, its funny though, I'm currently working on an essay for The Odyssey and 2001: A Space Odyssey, and not much is coming to mind! What i've found helpful is just writing down everything that comes to mind, no matter how much of a writers block you have. Good luck girlie! <3

A good outfit always helps me beat the stress and a good outfit you have indeed! I love all the little details, like how well the purse goes with the dress. Aside from that, it's worth continuing to work your hardest senior year even if you know your plans for college. You obviously have a good work ethic which will help SO much your freshman year. I hope everything goes well with your paper and that you have a relaxing weekend!
