I See You In Me.

Pink Blouse, Teal Shorts: Thrifted.
Floral Necklace: Forever21.
Tan Clogs: Target.

Hello there everyone!
Thank you all for the beyond lovely feedback on my 'beehive' hair do yesterday! I was in the mood to do something different and 60's inspired, and it makes me so happy that you all liked it. A few of you mentioned me possibly doing a tutorial on it: would anybody else like that, as well? If so, just let me know!

This outfit was a bit out of my comfort zone. I'm not used to wearing such bright and mixed colors that it was hard to wear this outfit with confidence. Typically I like more subdued patterns and colors, so I was definitely taking a risk with this outfit. However, how can one ever determine their personal style unless they mix it up and take risks sometimes? I feel like it's such an important part of the style process!

In other news, I got my school year book today from my junior year! Gosh, I'm totally in love with it... I was so surprised to find that Matt and I were the large picture on the homecoming page, too! What an honor :)

Hope you all are doing lovely!
With much love, Lauren.

Yes! Last post's hair-do was too gorgeous...I would love to see a tutorial. :)

I know exactly what you mean with wearing bright colors...I usually don't wear anything louder than red. That should change though... ;) Anywho, I really love this outfit on you, and I think you pull off the hot pink and teal wonderfully! The necklace balances it out perfectly. And of course I adore the tan clogs! :)
