Leggings: Forever21.
Infinity Scarf: H&M.

hey everyone & happy saturday!

Today was the perfect fall day. I've been really stressed with school & work lately, so I decided to dedicate today as a day to myself to just relax. I slept in a bit which felt so lovely to not jar myself awake before my lethargic body wants to get up. I sat and had a nice cup of coffee in my living room and watched the squirrels chase each other to and fro out my french door windows covered up in a fleece blanket.

I got ready in this outfit today; a nice comfy, cozy, easy going outfit perfect for a lazy day. I snapped some photos in the local park and it was so beautiful out I couldn't help but be giddy when I was taking them. After, I stopped at my favorite coffee shop in town, Scribbles, got a pumpkin latte and then headed to the Goodwill to gather a few things for my Halloween costumer this year (!). Then, I came back to my apartment and lit a wonderful smelling pumpkin candle, edited these photos, watched some youtube videos (my favorite is Estee), and now I'm just listening to Birdy radio on I Heart Radio while writing this up. Sipped on some warm tomato soup and peanut butter crackers and plan to watch a scary movie tonight with a cup of tea near by ♥

Today was everything I needed. Sometimes you can only work so hard for so long before needing a rest and rejuvenation day! x

With much love, Lauren.

I'm going to ask it again since you didn't answer me
Which ISO, aperture and shutter do you use on your camera :)?

@anonymous,

Hey! I actually shoot on auto with my camera. To be honest (and this is sort of embarrassing) but I actually never check the appueture or ISO before I shoot. Usually if the photo is off, I'll switch locations to fix it rather than the camera settings. It's just how I've always done it and tbh im too lazy to learn the in depths of my camera. Sorry I can't be of more help! x

Love the vibrancy of the sweater, such an intensely cheerful red. Sounds like a perfect day :-)

I'm sure for some this is a really simple outfit that they wouldn't bother photographing and blogging but I love it, it just looks so comfy and cosy.

You're day sounds perfect, sometimes there is nothing better than taking a day to yourself and enjoying the quiet moments in life.
