Striped Shirt, Denim Shorts: Thrifted.
Oxfords, Cardigan: Forever21.
Forever living in the most fickle state ever where you mix a heavy knit cardigan with a pair of denim shorts in October! That's Ohio for you.
Halloween is coming up and right around the corner and I just finished up this year's costume! I get really serious about my costumes and try and out do myself every year. Last year I was quite sad because I didn't get to dress up/celebrate Halloween while I was in Italy, so this year I'm going full force. I love making and DIYing my own costumes every year. It adds a personal, creative touch to set you apart from others who still may be dressed as the same thing/person you are.
I was super honored that Seventeen posted my DIY Starbucks costume on their website! That has been one of my all time favorites I've done and it meant so much that they liked it/wrote about it.
Hope you all are doing well! I have a photo shoot I'm styling for tomorrow for the campus run fashion magazine, a full day of working at the coffee shop, and then a few Halloween parties to attend this weekend. It's going to be a busy but good one! x
With much love, Lauren.

Something about that yellow sweater just gave me the most excited burst of Autumnal-energy. I love this season, and the fashion choices it brings. ^.^
Choosing what to be for Halloween is so hard for me. Its equivalent to making a major life decision. lol
