Hello there ♥
Not sure if you all can tell, but I dyed my hair darker a few days ago! It was dark in my last set of outfit photos, too, but even I can hardly even tell the difference. My hair is super light and mousy which always really bothers me, so usually in the winter I dye it a nice, solid, shiny, dark brown. I actually had a hair appointment right after I got home from Italy to get it all chopped off, but I backed out the day before and decided to keep the length. I really was itching for a big change after Europe and wanted a long bob, but I know every time I miss my long hair. I'm just so non-committal. So dying it I knew would satisfy the itch for change I wanted. I'm mega cheap, so I always do it at home with the help of my mom with box dye from the grocery store, and it usually works out... (except that one time it turned out black and my mom couldn't stop laughing at me -__-). But again, this time was a bit flawed and I just have so much hair that we missed quite a few spots and it's so patchy. LOL. It's kind of embarrassing actually. Ah, oh well. We may try to touch it up here soon, or I may just be too lazy to even try to fix it. Time will tell. x
With much love, Lauren.

This outfit is great!! I love the leather skirt with the more modest-seeming turtleneck.
You are so pretty!!
Lauren, right after I opened your new post I saw your hair is a bit darker and it is very beautiful! Now your skin is more pretty than before. Also I like so much your outfit! Lily
Such a pretty outfit, i love your top!

I also have been wanting a long bob cut lately! I'm just so used to my long hair that I'm scared I won't like it... Hopefully I can muster up the courage soon to just go for it!

I can so resonate with the hair struggles! I literally researched for months before chopping 13 inches of mine off to donate. I had always wanted a pixie, but wasn't sure if it would be flattering and I loved being able to style long hair.
Countless bookmarked articles and a whole google doc of photo inspiration later, I finally took the plunge. I'm not sure if I prefer long or short hair and I do miss long hair sometimes, but I think the liberating feeling is so worth it. Donating my hair also was a huge factor in my decisions--it was comforting to know that at least if I didn't like it, I was helping someone out. And some places do take processed hair! (mine was permed). For example, Matter of Trust takes any kind of hair to help clean up oil spills.
Just a few thoughts! I hope I don't come off as pushy or anything. It's such a personal decision, and I know you'll be beautiful either way. I think the way the dye turned out isn't bad at all--the streaks of lighter color are sweet, in my opinion.
Wishing you a smooth transition back to Kent in the coming weeks!
