Layered Up.

Cream Sweater, Floral Skirt, Straw Fedora: Thrifted.
Chambray Top: Target.
Riding Boots: Old Navy.
Bow Belt: Forever21.

Hello everyone!

Life is so wonderful here right now. I often just stop, take a deep breath, and can't believe how lucky I am. It didn't take but a few days for me to fall into a slump again while back in my hometown. The sadness and loneliness set in so quickly. But here, it's like I am a brand new person with a brand new life and I can't explain it. Even if something bad happens or nothing at all happens, I still just have this inner contentness that I can't shake. Every morning I wake up and can't believe I'm here and this is my life now. Every day is a new adventure with new people and new experiences. I am so very lucky.

I'm excited for this evening because I'm going to get dinner with two of my good friends! After we're all going to NAVS together and it'll be my first time going in over a month. To say I'm looking forward to seeing all of my favorite people and going to something that makes me feel on cloud nine is an understatement.

I hope you all are having a good day today! I've been getting a ton of beautiful emails lately from you all that have been making my heart soar. I don't know what I did to deserve them, but I can't thank you enough for them!

I've also been thinking about doing another video here for awhile now and believe I'm going to film one on my lipstick collection. Is that something you all would like to see? Do you have any other suggestions for videos you might want me to make?

With much love, Lauren.

A lipstick video would be so fun! You could also do like, a dorm tour video or something. That'd be cool. PS. Love the socks peeking out of boots look. :)

I love the neutral colors in this outfit and how pretty it looks. A video about your lipstick collection sounds like a great idea.

I want to try layering a sweater and a chambray shirt like you've done here.

This belt is so cute and I love the soft colors with your dark hair. A perfect contrast.

You are so pretty! This outfit is like spring and winter all wrapped up together and I love it. Your boots are fantastic and the little key necklace is adorable. Everything here just is perfectly paired and layered. I love it!
I'm so glad things are going great for you lately too! It's always nice to hear you're happy!

I love the feeling of being a brand new person with a brand new life. I experience it too when I come back to college. It's great :) Keep living your dreams, girl! It will only get better from here!

And by the way, I love the sweater and the chambray top paired together. I've been meaning to try to get those to pieces to work together. I think it's too cute!
