Hello everyone!
I am a huge supporter of small buisnesses and ones just starting out. Being a fashion merchandising major I'm learning truly just how much it takes to get your company off the ground and all the hard work that goes into making an independently owned business successful. As a blogger, I love to help support small businesses because I think they truly have some of the most original, unique ideas. I am incredibly blessed and lucky to get to try out new products and items!
I was very curious when I got contacted by a company called Tiklyz. The founders came up with the idea for their product when thinking about the small dots they would wear on their forheads as little girls in India ('Tiklis'). They were interested in bringing Eastern culture to the Western culture, however, making the dots fashionable and bold. The result is Tiklyz!
At first I was hesitant about trying them out because I thought, "well, where in the world would I wear face charms at?" Being a shy person I was scared of the attention. I found out though that the face charms are just like any other acessory; part of an outfit, part of a persona that you choose. You're able to wear them two to three times and they simply stick on you face, arranging them any where and any way you'd like. I found that went really swell with a retro look!
It's funny because in high school, girls would wear generic stickers on their face similar to these all the time for parties. It's really such a brilliant idea to come out with different sets inspired by various cities and made of different materials.
If you'd like to try out Tiklyz for yourself, you can enter to try out a free sample on their facebook page.
I wanted to let you all know that I'm actually typing from Nashville right now! We arrived today and I'm so excited to start adventuring tomorrow and...see Ed Sheeran tomorrow night! I've been taking lots of pictures and have lots of stories to tell you all soon. x
With much love, Lauren.

You look adorable. I like the face charms :)
Hope you have fun in Nashville!
Great outfit! I love the pencil skirt and striped shirt- you always have the loveliest collared shirts!
You look incredibly beautiful today Lauren :) I am obsessed with your lace skirt :) You look SO fancy! The Tiklyz you are wearing compliment your make-up fabulously as well :) This post is a new fave of mine!
Congratulations on your Modcloth feature! What an accomplishment :) x
You look so beautiful in this outfit! Those face charms really set it apart from other looks. I think they would look snazzy for a party, a concert, or even in the summer when going to the beach (granted you probably can't swim and get them wet). They have so many possibilities!
Nashville sounds very exciting. Have a super awesome time! Can't wait to read the stories. :)
I'm freaking out because I've had the exact SAME skirt for about two years and worn it a record of 0-yes, 0- times. I bought it because I loved it, and honestly, who can resist lace?
Now I have the inspiration needed to wear it! Maybe in the spring since it's currently 2* in my area of Michigan.
Yet again you look like a movie star. Takes my breath away. Those shoes are amazing and I love the different take on your classic look with those Tiklyz. Such a rad idea.
Nice combo with this outfit!
This is such a ridiculously pretty outfit! Love the skirt!
Have a great day,
-Kati
You look amazing in this outfit girl! I love it!! And your hair looks beautiful this way. I don't know if the face charms are for me, but they do look really cute on you.
You look great! That skirt fits you like a dream! EEEP! I hope that you have a blast in Tennessee; can't wait to see all the pictures. :) Have a great time.
xoxo,
Laura

You look so grown up in this photo! A few adjustments and you look like you'd be ready for work!
You look fabulous, you have definitely lost some weihgt. But I think that it would look better without that face acessory.
You look so absolutely gorgeous and feminine in this outfit. I love your lace skirt and the fantastic studded heels. Every time I see you wear these heels, I want a pair!
