Apple Blossoms.

Peach Dress: Swapped with Katie of Beautifully Pure.
Floral 1950's Hat, Suitcase: Thrifted.
Nude Oxfords, Pearl Bracelets: Forever21.

Hello everyone!
For awhile now I've been chatting back and forth with the lovely Katie of the blog Beautifully Pure and we decided that it would be super fun to do a little clothing swap! Katie's style is exactly like my own, and the pieces she picked out for me too try were to perfect...golly, I wish I could have them in my own closet!

One of the pieces Katie sent me was this beautiful, airy dress from Delia's. It's so pretty, innocent, and I wanted to take pictures in a place to reflect the feel of the dress. I've been checking on the local apple orchard for quite a few weeks now to see if the blossoms had bloomed, and I was so thrilled on the day I took these pictures to find they finally had! It was so breathtaking to stand under the shade of the blooming tree and smell the sweet aroma of spring. The bees were buzzing, the sun was shining, and it was just me and my camera. Truly the perfect picture taking session!

I also sent Katie two of my own pieces of clothing, and here she is styling one of my dresses! What a cutie patouttie :) I still have another one of Katie's dress to style up, so stay tuned guys and gals!

Hope you all are doing lovely...
With much love, Lauren.

P.S. Tonight is the LAST night to enter the Vedette giveaway! Check it out here if you'd like!

Your pictures definitely go perfectly with the dress! You look like you are about to go on a train ride to somewhere fabulous...great post. I love that you did a clothing swap just to style the pieces, not necessarily to keep. That's such a great idea- I love that there will be even more history in the pieces you've swapped.

You know that you're impossibly beautiful sometimes? Your pictures, the setting, the way you hold yourself and what you wear is just.. incredible. I'm very glad I don't go to the same high school as you because I would be so jealous!

It's so funny to me how similar our styles are! I mean, both dresses were styled very similar ways. Too funny!

I'm planning on wearing the blouse you sent me this week or weekend. I can't wait to see how you style the other dress! :D

Gosh, I've been so bad about commenting, I am so sorry!

I LOVE, looooove that vintage suitcase you found, it is just perfect! These photos could be on the cover of a vintage novel, something along the lines of The secret garden, they are such beautiful, vintage-looking shots! (Seriously, I am always amazied at your photography, you are so good at setting up a story and then bringing it to life.)
