Oh gosh Lauren, just hearing your voice made my day. You are so beautiful and brave for posting that, but really, your not awkward at all! It just blows my mind away to hear people talk who I've never heard before, and that's one of the downsides of blogs. But you have definitely inspired me to post video blogs as well!

As for the giveaway, I cannot agree with you enough. I see people giving away things when they reach, say, 50 followers, but I have found out that having a blog is not about te number of followers you have, it's about the things that you post that are important to you and the kind words that people sometimes leave you about it. Wow, this giveaway seems huge! It's such a gorgeous necklace too:)

Oh my goodness Lauren, I don't think you even know how wonderful you are. You are so genuine, so sincere. It is a pleasure to read your blog. I want to thank YOU so much for sharing your thoughts and your outfits.

I would gladly enter the giveaway, but I...uh...*coughs* don't have a facebook. Yeah, haha. Either way, the necklace is beautiful.

Ps. Loved the video. It wasn't awkward, it was super cute :)

OH MY GOD LAUREN I AM EVEN MORE IN LOVE WITH YOU. CUTEST GIRL EVERRRRR!!! Your video is so inspiring- you are one of the most wonderful people I've met on the internet and I'm so happy to have gotten the chance to know you, truly. Unfortunately I am Canadian, so I can't enter this glorious giveaway but I had to leave a comment because you're so adorable. YAY! Best of luck to all.

Oh Lauren, your voice is so absolutely beautiful, if that doesn't come out to creepily. As for your self-proclaimed awkwardness, any that I noticed is adorable on you! You are such a beautiful girl, and the way you speak matches your style, if that makes any sense at all.

Unfortunately, I don't believe that I am allowed to enter any giveaways yet, but this is a beautiful necklace, and it's so sweet of you to give it away!

xoxo

Hey, take it from a former television news anchor, producer and director - this video worked for you, Lauren! It added a whole new dimension to your blog. You have a lovely voice and you are an effective communicator. Your sincerity is palpable. Your imperfection is perfect. By that I mean that your shyness and your pauses to find the right words were actually strengths instead of weaknesses because your delivery appeared spontaneous, not rehearsed. Viewers of this clip will see, hear and feel that you are genuine. I could absolutely see you hosting a television talk show focusing on teen issues like the ones you bring to light week after week on your blog. Why don't you contact your local TV station? Stations are required to allocate a certain amount of air time to public service programming. Let them know that you would like to host a program aimed at helping young people and see what comes of it. I encourage you to pursue video blogging, tutorials and the like because you look great, sound great and come across as even more likable and accessible than you do in print. Bottom line: young people can relate to someone like you. You have personal power and charisma, Lauren. Use those assets to help yourself and others.

When buying the perfect wedding ring sets for your most special occasion, you could buy just the ladies engagement and ladies wedding rings (traditionally called a ‘bridal set’), or just the ladies wedding and men’s wedding rings (traditionally called a ‘bands set’), but they would be missing the significant advantages of buying a Trio Wedding Ring Set (sometimes also called a ‘His and Her wedding ring sets’).

Oh Lauren, this just made my day! Hearing your voice I felt like I am actually (well sort of) talking to you in person! Do you know what I've been doing for the past hour? I've been browsing through Shabby Apple and I am completely mesmerized by all the gorgeous dresses! I am going to try and ask for the Ming dress for christmas along with these Target lamps I want. AHH, complete randomness.

Anyways, I was so excited to see this blogpost and can't wait to see possible holiday posts.

Sending you love all the way from Maryland,
Shelby.

Oooh it was soo weird actually hearing what you sound like! Your American accent has an unusual twang to it that I presume is Ohian- it's nice! Well done on doing that vlog!!! You came across well- very sweet and sincere- just one thing- look at the camera and smile- I knew you were shy from that, not the way you spoke which was great!! Just pretend you're taking your blog photos and talking to a squirrel behind the camera! :-) x

Wow, such a beautiful voice Miss Lauren! It's so nice to actually hear you and have a voice to go with your look and all, makes you so much more real!!! There's nothing awkward about it, well yeah the first time talking into a camera is a bit weird, but it goes away and you're perfectly normal. You've done well for a first time and I hope to hear more of you in the future! Everything about you is so sincere and you always come from the heart, it makes me feel almost as though I'm hiding in my blog and not letting the real me be known, it's good that you do though and you have your blog where you DO show yourself and are applauded for who you are rather than shunned. We all love you here Lauren and I'm sure I speak for a lot if not all your other followers, our lives would be so empty if you were to suddenly stop blogging! And the fashion industry would be losing a huge part of it! Anyways, enough rambling on and on for me! Ttyl hun, take care and keep it up! :-)

Aw, Lauren, your video brought tears to my eyes. I felt the same way before I started my blog. Growing up with a Dad who's a biblical counselor, everyone had this image that us kids must be somewhat perfect, and that we were strange and too protected by our parents. We also moved a lot so I never really had any good friends, must of them tried to make me do things that were wrong. Until the past two years that is. Sorry for the long comment, but it is so nice to know there are others out there just like me. *smile* BTW, I LOVED your video. It was so nice to hear your voice. I love hearing bloggers voices.

You are adorable and I see a lot of me at your age in you. It's hard for me to connect with and maintain connections with people. I'm easily hurt by others and that frequently leads to broken trust... and once trust is lost, it's hard to really remain friends with a person.

I love your video blog, I love the sentiment you're expressing regarding appreciation. And a heartfelt thanks back at you!
