Hello everyone!
Hope today finds you well ♥
This outfit was from last week that I hadn't gotten around to posting yet. I was originally just wearing the skirt and top, but then I got a package in the mail and it was this beautiful kimono-- so I put it on right away to wear! It is from a lovely lady I met through instagram actually named Roselee (@thefoxbanditt) who owns a little vintage inspired online boutique called Button and Blues. Roselee is a fashion merchandising student like myself out west (lucky her!), and I love seeing people in my field of study cultivate a business and make their dreams come true! She sells kimonos, tops, and is introducing boater hats into the mix soon. She is the sweetest lady and I am enamored by this kimono-- please do check out her store if you get a chance!
On a random note, do you all like text centered off to the side like in this post, or middle centered as I usually do it? I read somewhere that centered text is actually harder to read, so if you all would like me to switch to posting it straight on the side I can do that! It just seems so strange to me because for five and a half years I've centered it, ha. But, I'm always up for change & making my blog better.
Also super happy to announce my blog's facebook page made it over 500 likes last night! Thank you to all the new followers on it-- I'm looking forward to growing my page and interacting with you all more! x
With much love, Lauren.

Such a pretty kimono Lauren! Ooh that's a good question about the text, personally I don't think I notice a difference! x

Centered please
I'm loving your mix of stripes. The laced edging on the kimono is so sweet :)

Normally I think on the side would be better, but centered text has become some sort of trademark for your blog so people are probably used to it (I know I am). But either way is good. :)
The change in the text really threw me off - it might be just because I don't like change, but I preferred it centered.
It's great that you're supporting fellow fashion design students! I love the look here. I always like my text justified so that it's easy to read and looks really neat on the blog.
