Hello everyone!

I would just like to take a moment to explain the reason for my absence from blogging for the past few days. For the past week and a half or so, my OCD got wildly out of control for some unknown reason. The result of this was I began to starve myself. I don't have issues with my body, and I am perfectly happy with my weight. I was starving myself because I was just too scared to eat anything, for fear of throwing up. Even if I did eat, I couldn't eat hardly anything at all. So, it came to the point where I was too weak to function at school for lack of food in my body. I could hardly walk without falling over and I was so pale it was scary. Thankfully the medication I started last week has finally started to kick in and I am feeling much, much better. I've been eating regularly and taking better care of my body. I did loose about 7-8 pounds over the course of this last week, but I'm sure I'll gain it back in no time. I thank you all for your support and kind comments as of late. It means to so much to me to have you all by my side!

Hope all is well with you!
With much love, Lauren.

We're right here and we totally understand, Lauren. Your honesty is cathartic and you might be helping other girls with similar disorders. Good for you!

Lauren, I'm glad to hear your medication is working well. But what could work even better is if you, Erika, and I could enjoy eachothers' company sometime very soon! Coffee and convos, soon please?

It's so strange how our body's and brains react to each other. I ponder that all the time. I'm sure your brain and body was going through a sort of phase with the medication being introduced to your body. Thank goodness you're feeling better! Keep up the good work:)

Love your outfit by the way!! Those shorts are amazing!!!

I remember those shorts! You had them on in one of your first ever posts on chictopia, which I took notice of and I'm sure I commented on... Funny!

Anyway, I'm sorry to hear that you were struggling with your illness this past week :( But I'm really glad that your new meds are doing the trick!
