I've Got My Head In The Clouds.

Out of all of your outfits posted, which one is your favorite?
Goodness, this is such a tough question! I've posted 216 different outfits so it's hard to choose, but I would have to say probably my one shoulder red dress with my t-strap heels, and my rose earrings that I wore last May for an awards ceremony.

What is your wildest dream?
To live in Paris, own a real Chanel bag, and marry the guy I've always dreamed of. I'm not too wild I'm afraid!

What do you plan to study in college?
I'm currently on the fence of what to do actually. My "safe choice" is to get a Major in Spanish and a minor in Education to be a Spanish teacher. My "not so safe choice" however, is to major in fashion merchandising and minor in Spanish so I can be an international fashion buyer.

What would be your dream job?
Well, I have a couple of dream jobs actually. One would be to work in an Historical Fashion Museum and give tours, and another one would to be a stylist for magazine shoots. Both would be beyond lovely!

After college, where would you love to live?
I plan on staying in Ohio for college, but after college I really want to move south to either Tennessee or South Carolina. There's something so romantic about old southern towns that I just love.

Besides vintage, do you have any other favorite styles of clothing?
Really feminine clothing would probably have to be my other favorite style! I love anything with ruffles, lace, and bows... I'm such a girly girl it's not even funny.

What inspired your love of fashion?
As a young girl growing up, I was incredibly insecure and hated myself. I would always be so envious of people who could dress well and had an individual style. I studied fashion magazines obsessively, wanting so badly to experiment with fashion myself, but I was too scared of what people might think of me. The summer before my eighth grade year though I decided to stop worrying about what others thought and take the leap. I haven't looked back since.

How long have you been blogging?
I've been blogging for over a year since November of 2009!

What made you start your blog?
My English teacher from my Sophomore year actually approached me one day and told me that I should start a blog because I had something special to document. I'm forever so appreciative of him for helping me start something I'm now so passionate about, and for having him see something in me that I couldn't see in myself.

What has been your best blogging experience so far?
Another incredibly tough question! There have just been so many incredible things that I can't choose one. I would have to say meeting inspiring new friends, being a role model for others, and reaching 100 followers (as of today!) have been the best experiences that I couldn't have ever dreamed would happen to me.

What is your favorite book and why?
Funny you should ask this... My favorite book is actually where I got the title of my blog from. It's called Someone Like You by Sarah Dessen. It taught me to always be myself. To know that being someone like me is the best and greatest thing I can ever do in my life.

What is your favorite movie and why?
I am such a stereotypical girl and have to say my favorite movie is The Notebook! I just don't love it because it's a beautiful love story though. It's so inspiring from a vintage fashion standpoint. Whenever I'm feeling uninspired, I watch The Notebook and I'm instantly flooded with new ideas.

What was your favorite game as a child?
LIFE! I loved it so much I even played it by myself.

What kind of makeup do you use?
My makeup routine is almost nonexistent actually because I think a girl shines brighter with natural beauty rather than with a ton of makeup on. I just put on a few coats of thickening mascara to open up my eyes, and when I do my vintage looks I use a $1 bottle of liquid black eyeliner to do cat eyes. I do dabble a bit of liquid concealer on a few problem spots on my face because I am a teenager and get many blemishes!

What is your favorite color?
It would have to be without a doubt purple!

What is your favorite T.V. Show?
Oh, it's so bad but I love to watch Gossip Girl. It's such a guilty pleasure and the clothes are just so gorgeous.

If you could go back in time and redo anything, what would you redo?
Five years ago I woke up during the night and was violently sick with the stomach flu. That experience was the cause of my OCD fear of throwing up. I always think that maybe if that night hadn't happened, I would have found something different to obsess about that wouldn't be as bad.

Who is/are your favorite designers and why?
I can't afford designer clothing, but if I could I would buy Chanel or Dior. Both fashion houses have such beautiful, feminine, and classic clothing that is often vintage inspired.

What is your most nerve wracking, embarrassing, awkward, favorite moment in life?
Nerve Wracking: Hm.. My Chemistry final last school year!
Embarrassing: I slur my words together when I'm nervous and I often say inappropriate and embarrassing things on accident! I'm not going to say what though...
Awkward: I'm just an awkward person, so I would have to say my everyday life is just awkward in general.
Favorite: Winning best dressed student in the high school my Freshman year!

What thing makes you smile no matter what?
When people make funny faces. I could be incredibly angry or sad, and if someone does a funny face I just can't help but smile and burst out laughing.

Thank you so much everyone for your lovely questions!
