Someday We'll Meet Again.

All Items Thrifted.

Hello everyone!
Oh my goodness, I am so excited about how these photos turned out! I'm wearing the new red dress I thrifted for two dollars last week, and I knew that I wanted an extra special place to take pictures in it. So, I probed my dad for some interesting places to shoot at, and he suggested we go to a near by town to an abandoned railroad depot. My goodness, I was in total love! I felt so inspired and had this incredible feeling while taking these pictures. The atmosphere. My outfit. Everything came together so perfectly!

I even got a little surprise when a real train came rolling by on the tracks! My goodness, I had not idea how truly large, fast and loud trains actually are...

Hope you all are doing just lovely!
With much love, Lauren.

I can't believe you thrifted that dress for only three dollars! It is lovely in every way (the color and cut are so wonderful.) Yes, these pictures turned out so beautiful. Your head piece really completes the whole look. xoxo

You're certainly on the right track, Lauren (if you'll pardon the pun). Trains, train stations and tracks are evocative, nostalgic props and you look stunning at that railway depot in your red dress, matching lips, white gloves and bag and black hat and belt. Picture #5 in which you are looking up the tracks is my favorite composition but they're all great!

The train must have been awfully scary! What a beautiful place to take photos though. Can't wait to see more of these in the future!

This dress looks even better on then it did on the coat hanger! Amazing! Still can not believe you found it for 2 dollars- possibly one of the best thrift finds of the decade (-:

Hi Lauren!! This is Christine from...a very long time ago haha. I think I commented in August? We talked about how we both live in Ohio (well, for me, going to school here). I'm still following your blog through Google Reader, but I wanted to comment to let you know how much I love these pictures!! Such a cute outfit, and such a great location to match the vintage theme! Glad that you had the chance to take a break from studying and school to have a fun photoshoot :)

OMG I am so in love with these pics!!!! Your dress is spectacular, it reminds of when my wife and I would role play being in a 30's era mystery movie! :-)

What does this say for all those diet pills claiming to contain Hoodia? Well it means most of them are lying. This is how UniqueHoodia works: You take one UniqueHoodia pill before each meal and it will prevent you from over eating because you will be less hungry. Hoodia Gordonii is a natural appetite suppressant that fools your brain into thinking you're full, even when you're not. With the properties of the plant that are unquestionably effective, it is fair to assume that people with eating disorders and weight concerns will abuse the power of this plant. Keep trying and find what works for you.
