Hello everyone!
So lately I've been so inspired by the 1960's which is strange for me because I'm usually on a 40's or 50's fetish. I've been on the lookout for shifts and wiggle dresses at the thrift stores, and have been doing a lot of cat eyes with nude lips lately. Also, I really want to learn how to style my hair in a beehive! Something like how I had my hair for homecoming except well, not quite as fancy, ha. I really wanted to do a beehive with today's outfit but sadly I am a failure when it comes to hair styling. Curls with hot rollers though? I can do that! :)
This houndstooth shift is actually a very short dress. My school has a rather strict dress code and I knew that this would be pushing the limit way too much if I just wore this dress with tights. Tight, black skinny jeans did the trick to look like I had thick leggings on.
I'm very relieved that tomorrow is Friday... I plan on spending all evening with my Mattie! He is finally done working every Friday and Saturday from 6-12 so now he is all mine. Yay! I am actually pretty excited for Saturday too because my grandmother is taking me out thrift shopping. I just got done cat sitting for a neighbor and scored $40 bucks. Volunteers of America here I come!
With much love,
Lauren.

Very cute!
I like that dress Lauren! Very good black/white contrast. :)
I have been in such a 60s mood too lately, I've become obsessed with cat eyes liquid liner. I love the checks of your dress!
