Faux Spring.

Floral Blouse: Forever21.
Green Cardigan: Thrifted.
Black Lace Up Boots: H&M.
Chiffon Skirt: c/o OASAP.

Hello :)
How are you all doing? I apologize for so many indoor pictures lately. It's an absolute lie that today was the first day of spring...it snowed here! I just can't get the willpower anymore to go outside in the cold and wind to take outfit pictures. You've exhausted me, winter.

I have a busy day of finishing school work before I leave this evening for home! I'm content though because I got to see and hang out with all of my friends before we all leave. I'll miss them so much! Break should be quite busy though.

I'm really really nervous and anxious because I'm going to be looking for jobs when I get back. It's been causing me anxiety the past few weeks thinking about it. I don't know what I'll do if I can't get a job...I can't sit at home all summer. I think too much when I have too much time and it's never a good thing.. I also need the money so badly so I can help my parents out with college- it always burdens me how much they pay and help me out. For the past two summers I worked as a hostess and it was an absolutely miserable experience, and I truly think it was the cause of a lot of my depression last summer. I really want to find a job I like and actually enjoy for once. I'm going to six different retail stores- Kohl's, JcPenny's, Macy's, TJ Max, Burlington, and Old Navy in hopes that one will hire me. Cross your fingers please, guys!

With much love, Lauren.

This last summer I got hired at a job, fired and then a few weeks later I got hired at another job and then fired again! So the last month of summer I spent a lot of days just in bed, sleeping or crying. It was terrible. I so understand your pain! I hope you can find a great job, and hey, you should try Starbucks too! I work there now and love it, and since you always post about coffee, maybe you'd love it too! Good luck. :)

I absolutely love how perfectly the pink and green shades in this outfit pair together. You look so spring-y!

Good luck with your summer job search! I hope you find something. I know I should get a job over the summer too, but I don't mind doing nothing and people don't like to hire college grads for part time summer stuff... sad times.

I understand how difficult finding job is, becouse I have been looking for job past four months and it has been very depressive. I am also afraid that I won't be able to handle new job, if I get it, I have very low self-confidence.
I wish You luck! I hope that you will find job that you enjoy.

Hey, it's so frustrating when you can't find a job. I've been searching for the last six months and I have found.absolutely.nothing. I feel awful, like I'm completely useless. But I'll just have to keep looking. Last summer, I worked as a waitress in two restaurants. Approximately 12 hours a day, but it was soooo great. I'm crossing my fingers for you and I hope you'll find something nice. Cross your fingers for us xx <3

Love the colors you used in the outfit! Good luck with finding a job! I know the exact pain, after I graduated with my engineering degree because the economy was terrible I had the hardest time finding a job for a year. It seriously takes a toll on you physically and mentally...I was so stressed. But I found one eventually :) Don't give up!

Hope you get one! I had an awful job in a hotel switchboard in my first summer at Uni, 8 hours and not allowed to read in the gaps! It was horrid, no natural light and a nasty synthetic pea green, red and navy uniform!x

I worked at panera and hated it! Now that I work retail at Ross I love it so much more. I have only heard good things from people who work at ross so maybe try ross marshalls and tj maxx because they are all similar. I hope they have these stores in places other than florida because then no one will know what im talking about...

Super pretty, and I love those boots. I cannot imagine you wouldn't get hired at one of those retail stores! You clearly are such a thoughtful, hard worker AND you obviously know so much about fashion. They'd be crazy not to hire you on the spot!!

I hope you are able to get a job working retail, Lauren. I am also trying to get a job this summer at my local Kohl's. I really want to work retail before starting college next fall. I'll be majoring Fashion Merchandising, too! I'm so excited!
