She's Like Cold Coffee.

Peter Pan Collar Shirt, Mustard Cardigan: Forever21.
Black Loafers, Denim High Waisted Shorts: Thrifted.
Mustard Beret: Target.

Why hello there! ♥

A bit more of a seasonably appropriate outfit aside from yesterday's florals and pastels, no? I have been so stuck in dresses and skirts the past few months here at college so I thought it was time to get out of my comfort zone a bit and sport some shorts. I brought these high waisted shorts from home this past weekend and nervously tried them on...because at the end of the summer they didn't fit me. Luckily for me they do fit now! I've lost a lot of weight here at college not even that I've been trying but more so because the life style is just so demanding and busy that I don't have time. Not to mention I am, ahem, not the biggest fan of Kent State's dining services...I'll hold my tongue.

Hope you all are doing well and I am certainty living on coffee as of late! This little cafe mocha in the pictures kept my hands nice and cozy + made me one happy lady :)

With much love, Lauren.

You look amazing! I love those shorts on you. I always seem to lose a lot a weight at school too, especially this last semester when I started working my job - bye bye lunches.

Girl, you are always getting yourself in the most cray cray situations. :) Which is a good thing, because I love hearing your stories.

Also, that red dress looks fab-u-lous on you. :)

Ah this is such a cozy and perfectly fall-looking outfit! I love your yellow cardigan and yellow beret. You're not alone in your losing weight at school. I've dropped weight this year too. I guess I've been too busy with school work to want to make myself more than one meal a day! But now a bunch of my skirts are too big on me so it kind of sucks.

Oh Lauren! I know how you feel! I don't like the dining services here at Indiana University and I don't have a lot of time to eat some days. I've lost 15 pounds!
I've began updating my vintage clothing blog again! And I also have a nail art blog. (= Feel free to check them out.

What a lovely outfit! Your mustard cardigan is gorgeous, I've been after one just like it, if only I wasn't a million miles away from a Forever21!

love your style, love your look, love your smile, love your beautiful hair.....
and I especially love your high waisted shorts!!!! And those super pretty tights!
YOu are so very stylish and chic!

I'm an american guy traveling in Europe this fall, and I have 13 years in ballet, and a love for fashion....... your hair is sooo lovely as well, I've had long hair all my life, so I definitely appreciate your gorgeous locks
Growing up, I used to wear tights with sweaters all the time as a comfy alternate. Your lovely look reminds me of all those days....epsecially when the delivery man would come and I'd meet him at the door and he's refer to me as Miss......
I've been raving to my new friends about how much I love the tights/shorts look, so they encouraged me to try it myself...
and I have in a big way,..... denim cutoffs, high waisted shorts, even a romper.......
I will following your blog religiously..... thanks for sharing your lovely taste and your beauty

My coder is trying to persuade me to move to .net from PHP.
I have always disliked the idea because of the costs.
But he's tryiong none the less. I've been using WordPress on a number
of websites for about a year and am anxious
about switching to another platform. I have heard good things about blogengine.
net. Is there a way I can transfer all my wordpress posts into it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
