Hi guys!!

Welp, officially done with my junior year of college and will be... A SENIOR IN THE FALL! How did this happen? Didn't I just start college? Craziness. I got back to my hometown yesterday and said goodbye to my sweet little apartment for the next three and a half months. It was sad because I have my routine there and have made it like my home...but I know I will be back soon enough to finish up the last year in my degree and then move onto the big world of employment. Scary!

I only have a few days left here in my hometown to say some goodbyes and pack up my stuff, then it's off to NYC for the summer! My family is flying with me early Tuesday and it should be a blast to tour around with them. My favorite gelato shop in Florence has a store in NYC (Grom!) so all I can think about is having my delicious, heavenly chocolate fondente again...be still my heart.

And then, another big change came today that you can clearly see-- I cut my hair! Well, I didn't per say, but a professional did, ha. I've been wanting to do this for awhile--ever since I got back from Europe-- and I thought it was the perfect transitional time in my life to do it. It's not too short, but it was a lot off for me. I am a person somewhat attached to my hair, so I wanted a change but nothing to drastic. I also wanted something fresh for NYC and my internship that would make me feel confident and this definitely does. I love how it reflects changes and out with the old, in with the new; just like things going on in my life right now

Hope you all are well! Love you!

With much love, Lauren.

Super cute cut!
I'm the same way about my hair, except I still can't bring myself to cut it. I dyed it with henna instead. I LOVED it, but now after it's faded, it looks strange....

I cannot believe you're nearly done with college! It does feel like you just started. Time seems to go faster and faster the older we get.

Good luck in NYC and let's skype when you get settled in! I miss seeing you!
