Real.

Floral Crown: Handmade.
Pleated Cream Skirt, Silver Pendant Necklace: Thrifted.
Nude Oxfords, Pearls, Lace Peter Pan Collar Top (actually a dress): Forever21

Sometimes it doesn't seem real that I should be leaving this place in a few, short months. The little coves I've come to discover and happen upon. The nooks in the forest I call home. The places that give me comfort where I can just sit, think, and reflect. Sometimes I don't want to leave. I don't want to go to a place I'm not familiar with. I don't want to have to learn the in's and out's all over again. I don't want to get lost and confused. I want my home, where I've always been.

Sometimes it doesn't seem real.

With much love, Lauren.

I know that it is scary right now, but before you know it, you begin to realize that you can call more than one place home. <3

  8. I really love how you wore that pretty dress as a top. It looks wonderful with the floral crown.

It's pretty weird to leave home, but remember you can visit and you'll be home on breaks. It isn't really goodbye forever. You'll get used to your other home at school too, don't worry!

  9. I really love your flower crown, everytime I tried to make cute things like that, it ends up looking like the puppy mauled the flower garden. :P This is such a sweet soft look, you really captured your mood here.

  12. I'll only tell you one thing that I saw today and gave me some much needed strength:

  14. You look beautiful and the neutral tone is so good on you. I'm envious. I think you'll love Kent and find just as many forests and places to hide and snap photos and if you ever need some friends or a ride home just because, let me know! I'll be around and would love to adventure with you!

  17. Oh Lauren...that crown is making me swoon a bit. I've never made one that looks like that...you should so do a tutorial:)

The head to toe muted tones are beautiful! I always appreciate seeing outfits like this, because it is something I could never wear..my coloring just doesn't lend itself very well to neutrals, but goodness they are stunning on you!

The first dive off the cliff is the hardest when it comes to leaving home, but once you get settled and acclimated you'll adore discovering an unfamiliar place and uncovering new nooks:) Best wishes Lauren!

  20. I love that this is light the lighter version to the black lace dress of your previous post. The lace peter pan collar is adorable!

And it is scary leaving home and all those places -but you will return to them. Probably for years. You will have summer vacations and visits and they will always mean something to you. I haven't lived with my parents for five years and I still love to go back and go for walks in the countryside around them.
You just get to have more places that mean something to you!
