The Magic of Ordinary Days.

Silver Locket, Pink Wide Brimmed Hat: Thrifted.

Summer holds so many magical moments for me. I rejoice in the simplest of pleasures that summer relinquishes to me. A cool sip of root beer on a sweltering hot day. Sitting out on the front porch reading a classic novel while the wind tickles my face and tosses my hair. Watching the fireflies dance playfully with each other in the ink black sky. Laying in the rich, green grass and falling asleep to the birds chirping and bees happily buzzing. Taking long walks in the evening and being rewarded with a brilliant and color bursting sunset at the end. These are the moments that I have always have and always will always cherish.

    Thanks so much for this postIt just made me smile and I am actually doing just lovely, Lauren! I smiled when I saw the first picture because lace! I just love lace, but for some reason never dared to wear it. hmm.. I may just have to get over that wont I. hehe And the shoes! the shoes!! They were just soo cute and complimented the dress perfectly! Way to Go!!

    Summertime and the livin' is easy. I loved reading this list of simple pleasures that are finally yours to experience now that school is through and the Ohio weather is cooperating. Moreover, this is another exceptional photo shoot, Lauren, and I just had to let you know. #2, #5, #6, #7, #8 and #9 are especially good poses. The lines, composition, motion and facial expressions in those shots are all wonderful!

    I love your outfit, especially those shoes. Damn! I came to your blog because I saw your comment about poison ivy in Ohio on Vixen Vintage's blog. That stuff is terrible! My boyfriend and I got it two years ago and we haven't been back in the woods since!

    Those shoes are so pretty! I love floral platform Mary Janes. :) The way you paired them with a simple black dress and let them stand out and do their own talking is perfect. :)

    This outfit is so amazing! That hat is such a great thrifted find! I remember trying on a similar one at american apparel, but it was $48, so I didn't buy it. You look adorable!
