Yellow for Mabel.

Navy Pants: Forever21.
1950's Stiletto Bow Heels: Thrifted.
Mustard Beret: Target.
Pearl Jewelry, White Purse: Thrifted.

The other day I was touched by a blog like I've never been touched before. I saw a post on Kenzie of Kenzie Faith's blog where she was wearing yellow for Mabel. Curious to who Mabel was, I clicked on the post which led me to a blog called Raising Red Heads. I sat there for a good hour reading through the posts, tears running down my face, so blown away by the struggles this family has gone through raising a child with are rare, unidentified disease and being so...so strong. I admire the blogger and mother, Ramee, so incredibly much...she has strength I never imagined a person could have and little Mabel has so much strength, as well.

So I'm wearing yellow for Mabel. For all of the children out there who are so, so special. Who were placed on this earth for incredible purpose and never fail to inspire me

With much love, Lauren.

  14. Okay, I will admit I'm a little jealous of all the greenery and flowers there! (The snow is just starting to melt up here.) This is such a sweet look, you always rock the cutest hats and the collar on this shirt is so cute. (And its fun to see you wearing jeans, you look adorable!)
And what a good cuase to wear yellow for, I got pretty weepy reading about Mabel on their blog, its always heart-wrenching to see children going through such a hard thing.
