Hello everyone!
This past weekend my sister and I got all fancied up so we could take some pictures for our family Christmas card! In years past we've always gone to a studio and had them taken, but finally we've grown smart enough to realize home taken ones are just as lovely! I wore my red Forever21 sweetheart dress I originally was going to wear to my school's winter formal dance which, like I predicted, got cancelled. I'll also be wearing this dress for Christmas, as well! I quite liked how these pictures turned out... I think they have so much more of a warm, family, love, feeling than studio pictures do. And come on...isn't my sister just too cute!?
It makes me absolutely so sad though because hardly anyone sends Christmas cards out anymore...we used to have a whole door filled with them and we've only gotten five so far! Guess I'm just stuck in the past (like always).

The Pfeiffer girls are a pair of stunners! You look gorgeous here! Gracie is so sweet! How's her piano lessons going? I did write you a letter, but I've misplaced it (along with several other people's) when I find it, I will try to send it!!

My brother and his family always have me (or my boyfriend) take their family photos and they are so much better than any studio ones ever could turn out. Way more personal. And you're right, usually my parents get around 100 and this year we have maybe ten? Maybe people forgot?
