Whenever I'm feeling hurt, upset, or dissapointed is the time when I am most inspired. I take those negative feelings and try to turn them into something positive. Today I was feeling all of the above, and I just had to do something to ease my troubled mood. So I did my hair up fancy, put on my prettiest dress, slipped on my highest heels, and placed my most sparkling jewelry on my ears and around my wrist. I went to the most beautiful place in my town and took pictures until all of my bad feelings drifted away with the spring breeze. After photos, I sat underneath a shaddy tree on an old bench and stared up at the beautiful, clear, blue sky and listened to the birds sing cheerfully to each other. I slipped off my shoes and hummed to myself a song with no lyrics, and imagined that I was in heaven.
With much love, Lauren.
This shoot yielded a bunch of winners, Lauren. All of the shots on the steps are killers as well as the one in which you are surrounded by the green grass. I'm sorry you had the blues but I am proud of you for using constructive methods to overcome them. Happy Easter, dear friend!
